王孟卿，副研究员。1977年生，河南项城人。2006年毕业于中国农业大学昆虫学系，获农学博士学位，2015-2016年在美国加州大学戴维斯分校昆虫学系和美国加州农业和食品局开展天敌昆虫资源保护与利用合作研究。
科研爱好：天敌昆虫多样性、保护生物学，天敌昆虫的系统和动物地理学。长期从事天敌昆虫的多样性、生物学及捕食性天敌昆虫的应用基础研究工作。先后主持国家自然基金两项、科技部长期性基础调查专项课题1个、农业部基本科研业务项目1个，参加科技部支撑计划、农业先进技术引进项目、农业行业科研专项、中美生物防治国际合作项目等10余项科研课题，发表论文70余篇，出版专著5部，在天敌昆虫系统发育及资源的保护利用研究领域具有一定的影响。
