刘玉娣，女，1977年12月出生于山东兖州，博士，副研究员，硕士生导师。1999年山东农业大学植物保护系获农学学士学位，2002年福建农林大学植物保护系获农学硕士学位，2005年中国科学院动物研究所攻读理学博士学位。2005年留所工作至今。2010-2011年在美国佐治亚理工学院生物系生态学专业进行访问合作研究。
刘玉娣从事水稻害虫分子生态学和综合治理的研究。主要围绕着水稻螟虫和稻飞虱的种群遗传学、稻飞虱的唾液源蛋白和唾液腺蛋白组学分析等研究工作。先后主持国家自然科学基金青年基金1项目、面上项目2项（30700537，31370439，31772538），中国农业科学院植物保护研究所基本科研业务费1项目（1610142017007），国家重点研发计划子课题负责人1项（2018yfd0200209）。以第一/通讯作者在国际期刊和国内核心期刊共发表学术论文20余篇，以第1发明人授权发明专利和实用新型专利各2项、软件著作权1项。
