张天涛,男,1980年1月出生于重庆永川。2005年获石河子大学植物保护专业农学学士学位,2008年获西北农林科技大学农业昆虫与害虫防治专业农学硕士学位,2011年获西北农林科技大学农业昆虫与害虫防治专业农学博士学位。2012年至今在中国农业科学院植物保护研究所玉米害虫组工作。2018年至2019年在加州大学戴维斯分校访学一年。
张天涛长期从事玉米害虫防治研究工作,主持国家自然科学基金青年基金1项,转基因重大专项任务2项,参与行业科技专项、国家重点研发计划项目等项目5项。研究了亚洲玉米螟嗅觉基因的功能及嗅觉识别机制,以及与寄主植物的之间互作关系;明确了cry1ac, cry1ie以及cry1ab等bt蛋白之间的交互抗性,通过转录及蛋白组学层面阐明了抗性产生的机理。
