王桂荣,博士、研究员、博士生导师,生物杀虫剂创制与应用创新团队首席科学家。2002年在中国农业科学院研究生院获得博士学位,同年到中国农业科学院植物保护研究所工作,2005-2010年在美国范德比尔特大学做博士后。长期从事昆虫化学生态学和功能基因组学的研究工作,在害虫嗅觉识别机制研究方面取得重要进展,研发了重要农业害虫绿色防控新技术。主持国家自然科学基金杰出青年基金、国家基金重点项目、国际合作项目、国家重点研发计划等项目。在 pnas、current biology、molecular biology and evolution 等杂志上发表研究论文150多篇,获授权国家发明专利10项,主(参)编著作3 部。担任植物病虫害生物学国家重点实验室副主任、亚太国际化学生态学会主席、中国植物保护学会常务理事、农业生物化学和分子生物学会理事。入选国家高层次人才计划、科技部中青年科技创新领军人才、国家百千万人才工程,被授予国家有突出贡献中青年专家,获得国务院特殊津贴。
